• Refurbishing patio doors and repairs to tile hanging

  Guy Building Services Ltd recently did some work on our house, primarily to restore some patio doors, and also to replace some of the tile hangings which had broken. Pierre came personally at the start of the work and introduced us to his man, Danny, who was brilliant. As well as the main jobs, Danny also took care of a number of smaller jobs such as fixing a gate which had become wonky, drilling a hole through a 1 ft stone wall to relocate a telephone and repairing and recementing some coping stones on some small garden walls. All work was completed on time and to a high standard.

  We had a door opening expanded in a solid wall and custom door lining fitted with a new door hung, great experience from start to finish, good quality of work, both the builder and carpenter were friendly and professional, turned up on time, were quick to complete the work and to a high standard and answered any questions we had.

  Pierre's team did an excellent job. Danny and Angus were very punctual, kept the place cleaner than it normally is and made sure they made as little dust and mess as possible. All the work is to a very good standard and despite us coming across numerous obstacles these were all overcome to our satisfaction.

• Installation of barn doors in garage

  We have a large garage and wanted to section where the car is parked from the walk way to our office/gym. Pierre and his guys installed barn doors/rail etc. Its made a big difference and contains the drafts too!

• Tiling a section of flooring that had been separated from our garage.

  We wanted to continue the walkway from our boot room, through a section of our garage to keep the floor clean and even. Pierre and his guys transformed this area by tiling/grouting the walkway. It was a little fiddly because they had incorporate a slope. It was well thought out and has made a huge difference.

• New bathroom/wetroom and moving a wall to make the room bigger

  Pierre and team came recommended from Cranleigh Bathroom Studios, who came recommended from a friend and didn't disappoint. Ultimately we now have the bathroom we dreamed of and it feels luxurious every time we use it. Pierre was great at finding solutions to the inevitable challenges thrown up during the process and I didn't feel like I had to worry about anything. He and the rest of the team (Danny, Jamie and Chris) were all cheerful and helpful and Herbert's wet room installation and tiling was the icing on the cake.
