  Excellent reliable builders

  The GV team has helped us with a major renovation project annd multi storey extension over 18 mths. Their skilled team have done everything from underpinning foundations to full building work plus landscaping and internal works including a wonderful staircase and floors. They're a very capable team but really care about the quality of the job and the customers needs. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

  Rear extension quote

  We advertised on check a trade on the 16th July, GV Groundwork’s approached us about our work. The 17th July we exchanged emails and our architect plans and booked a visit for the 22nd July. The visit was very positive and promising from our perspective. Jack explained it would take a few weeks to get the quote. On the 4th August we emailed for an update on when we would receive the quote. The 7th Aug we received an update saying they were waiting for some prices back. The 4 Sept we chase again and didn’t receive a response and again no response to our 13th Sept email. I would not recommend!!

  We apologise that you have felt disappointed with our company. We have tried to call you following both of your follow up emails to discuss the prices for certain parts of your build that are coming back as extremely high and to suggest alternatives that you could propose to your architect as a cost saving method but have been unable to reach you. We take a lot of pride in our work and our customers and it’s a shame that you have chosen to leave a negative review on our page as a result of miscommunication We wish you all the best with your build.   A breathe of fresh air ....

  After using many builders in the past that either didn't turn up or turned up as and when they wanted I was sceptical about using any firm to undertake my extension however I went with my gut after getting a number of quotes and made the best decision possible. The extension has been finished to a very high standard, the lads tidied up after themselves and gave me updates and guidance along the way. Very impressed with this firm and won't go anywhere else now. Thanks again guys for a top job

  Thanks so much to Jack and the team for the amazing job you did in my garden! The decked area you created is stunning, as are the landscaped lawn and planters, I'm so pleased with it!
