  Hallway floor tiling - natural stone with upskirts

  Gerrie fitted us in last minute when another tiler had let us down. He turned up on time and was genuinely really helpful throughout the whole process. We have had really bad experiences with bad tradespeople and reliability in the past and it was honestly refreshing to have someone who takes pride in their work and does what they say. We have our bathrooms to tile and would happily ask Gerrie to come back. The finish of our hallway floor has exceeded our expectations, he helped us pick a suitable grout colour when we were unsure and helped advise us on how to seal the natural stone.

  Gave me 1 quote then charged 500 more make sure all quotes are in writing Room left in absouloute mess drainage whole set on incorrect level grout left every where horrible cuts.

  I was   surprised  by the review left by the customer. I visited and we agreed on a price. When I arrived i noticed that the trap that was installed by the plumber was not quite set in the right position.  I alerted the client to this who informed me that I can tile around the trap and that the plumber will return to set the trap accordingly.  After completion of the tiling, the client confirmed he was happy with the job and made the  full payment. The client then contacted me to ask me to complete two additional jobs. Again a price was agreed for both and full  payment received after completion, the customer indicated he was happy. The customer even send some lovely text messages to say well done. No issues was raised and no additional money was charged.  Approximate two weeks later the client contacted me to indicate the trap cover does not fit and said it’s because the floor should have been elevated while tiling. I again reiterated the trap should be lowered and visited to offer support and even offered to remove the tiles to allow the plumber to correct this and  then offered to  re-tile at  no extra cost. The customer then send me a number of unkind messages.

  Bathroom tiling in period property

  Gerrie has done a fantastic tiling job with our new bathroom renovation. The finish is absolutely fantastic and the results better than we hoped for. Gerrie was hardworking, excellent attention to detail and thorough particularly on a tricky project due to age of the property. We will definitely be using Gerrie for future jobs.
