Con Man Please Avoid
Matthew was meant to have done a full redevelopment on my daughters bungalow, after 2 years and no roof on the bungalow he has taken the money and ran, I believe he is still quoting for jobs around the Surrey Area, he has told my daughter he has dissolved the company but when I checked companies house it is still a live company. Please avoid this con man

Do not use
Avoid at all cost. Took a vast sum of money from us telling us that windows, stairs and materials had been ordered then suddenly claimed he was bankrupt. Left the project in a shambles looking like a bomb had hit it.

Avoid at all costs...has just left a half built extension and disappeared at the costs of thousands of pounds. Court case pending.

Kitchen fitting
We contacted Matt at Hacks Building for a much needed kitchen fit out, laminate flooring throughout the ground floor and an under stairs storage unit. Matt and his team were amazing, the work they have done has been completed to the highest standard and we are over the moon with how it all looks. Overall great company and great service we would 100% use them again and have already passed their details on to others. Roll on for our next project. Thanks Matt and the Hacks Building team!

Single storey wrap around extension
Honestly thrilled with everything. It was our first experience of employing a builder for anything and it feels like such a gamble to commit to a builder. We had people advising us to go for a big company, a small company, an older experienced builder etc etc. Matt was quick to respond, communication at every stage was excellent. His team were all polite, tidy, worked to a very high standard and made a great impression on us and our neighbours. Hugely impressed with the final product. Would highly recommend and will certainly ask Matt to return and do any future projects.

First fix carpentry work and loft conversion framework.
Matt and his team did a great job. Matt's carpentry skills are second to none and the team were able to carry out the work efficiently and solve any problems along the way. Hacks are a truly reliable company and carry out any works in a tidy, professional and responsible manner whilst always keeping me up to date as the project progressed.
