Review of first stages of work: Single story extension and internal reconfiguration
The Hammer's team have been efficient, courteous and great at communicating throughout the first phases of our building work. Theyre good at providing advice and regular updates and work is carried out quickly.
Renovation of Rear Extension - Kitchen and Back Room (Part 2)
Really pleased with Carl and his team. Cannot thank them enough for the hard work they are putting in with our kitchen renovation. It’s been less than straightforward for them, with some supplier issues and late notice changes to the kitchen plan and design, but they’ve been so dedicated and helpful to us working through it all. The team have continued to be professional, friendly and hard working, the quality of their work is a very high standard and they have communicated really well with us, ensuring that every little detail is perfect and we are satisfied with the job at every stage.
A loft conversion
We are part way through our build, and from the start, Carl and his team have worked incredibly hard. They have always kept the site as clean as they can, despite the demolition work, and the communication has been regular, including progress photos on a daily basis, which allows us to see how the work is progressing. The team have done their best to work around our schedules, having early morning meetings and site visits. Been very pleased so far.
Single storey extension
End of Build Review… Our single storey extension is now complete, and we are delighted with the result. Hammers Construction have been amazing in all aspects of the build. Carl, Dave and all the Team were highly skilled, courteous, and helpful throughout the project. Their workmanship, daily updates, and photos, impressed from start to finish. We would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy, professional Company for any building project. Thank you Hammers Construction!
Renovation of Rear Extension - Kitchen and Back Room (Part 1)
We have been really impressed with the work carried out by Carl and his team so far. They have removed the wall separating our kitchen/back room, fitted steel beams, raised floor, door and window (as room was across two levels) plumbing work and new Velux windows. The entire team have been friendly, hard working and tidy. The level of workmanship is clearly to a very high standard and they have communicated with us throughout to ensure we are happy with everything. We are extremely satisfied with the work carried out to this point and looking forward to the next phase of development.

Very impressed with the progress that Carl and his team have made in the first week. They're really well equipped and the workers are considerate and very tidy. Carl is very communicative and keeps up posted about anything we need to know. So far very happy with their work.

Hammers Construction continue to impress as work continues on our single storey extension. Despite weather delays, Christmas and some supply issues, Carl and his team ensured they did everything possible to guarantee the build remained on track while maintaining their high standard of workmanship. We are so pleased and can’t wait to see the final result.

Project - 1930’s Arts and Crafts Detached House. We have been extremely satisfied with the first phase of work undertaken - Hammers Construction are an exceptional team that work together seamlessly and professionally. Both the brickwork and roofing carpentry was exceptional. They were totally reliable, punctual, driven and kept us up to speed regularly with progress reports. The team have absolutely delivered this complex and challenging project, on time and on budget. We would have no reservation in recommending.
Ground floor rear extension and complete refurbishment of entire house
End of project review. Our house and patio/garden is now complete and we couldn’t be happier with everything. Complete transformation! All work completed to a very high standard with only a minor delay due to weather. As always the team were great to deal with and were able to help solve any problems quickly as they arose. Carl has a great eye for detail to pick up on any finishes and ensure that the finishing is very high quality. As stated previously work was as per quote with any additional costs (generally due to our requests) made clear before work was done. Thank you so much Hammers
