  not good experience

  Times at turning up to the job poor . There was a death in his family so i gave him grace to sort things out ,But took 4 days to paint one 12 foot sq room and then poorly painted he used small roller to paint feature wall when asked he said for control . lots of patches on the walls .that was after 4 coats of paint . I asked him to leave the job with excuse of moving .He turned mean after that, I had already made him of offer of payment but he still wanted more to payed to him. The money he wanted . I payed in cash and got a receipt of his business card with money and paid he wrote on it.

  I am disappointed by this review, which I do not believe fairly reflects my work or conduct. I suffered a close family bereavement during the job, affecting my usual pace, and appreciated your initial understanding. Before work began, I explained that silk paint would expose existing wall imperfections and advised a matt finish or further preparation, which you declined. You then chose to end the job early. I simply requested payment for the work and materials supplied; I did not become unpleasant, although I was subjected to abusive language. I take pride in my work and reputation.

  Excellent work.

  I needed a variety of jobs done: a porch area painted, garden bench repaired and curtains hung. Matt did all of it efficiently and courteously. He was reliable and did a great job and I won't hesitate to get in touch with him to do further work. First class.

  10/10 outstanding work and competitive rate!

  From first contact to final good bye, outstanding! Very pleasant person. Very keen eye on detail and unlike some other trades people in our house, Matt was very easy going and tidy and barely even noticed him in the house. Very responsive and always super polite! Can’t fault any of his work! Highly recommend Matt. Competitive rates.

  Professional

  Some small jobs done and one major one, ie 2 x flat packed wardrobes and a chest of drawers to be made up. All completed professionally and diligently. Matt cleared up after himself, very likeable person and will definitely use Matts services again.
