Michael did a great job from start to finish with creating and fitting our wardrobe. We wanted a large corner wardrobe in our new build. In the process I was made redundant from my job and wanted to pause the process and Michael was really accommodating of this. The wardrobe is now filled with our clothes and so happy with the final set up.

Hardsurface undertook all the carpentry and joinery work during my extension and renovation, including a media wall, full wren kitchen fitting, herringbone wooden flooring, and a built in wardrobe. Their prices were fantastic and beat well known companies by a significant amount. Always turned up on time and worked long hours to meet deadlines. Also made good a lot of shoddy work done by other trades that was not included in the scope and refused to take payment for it. Quality of hardsurface work compared to other trades was hugely noticeable. Highly recommended and will use again.

We had a major storage problem in the bedroom and Michael did an amazing job in putting as much shelving as possible to best use the available space. Michael was very quick to respond, very polite, professional, clearly explained everything, and the price was very reasonable. It all looks great and we are happy to recommend Michael to anyone who needs any carpentry work done.

Michael built bespoke wardrobes in 2 bedrooms for me, which fit the bedrooms perfectly. As part of this he built a bespoke layout inside the wardrobes based on my design to optimise the use of the space. They are fantastic! In addition to this, Michael designed and built a bespoke media wall, which is now the centre piece of the house and beautifully built to the design and specification agreed upon. I highly recommend his services! Not only has he mastered his craft, he is also a really sociable professional, which made the whole experience a lot more pleasant.

Michael came to our house as a recommendation to replace a staircase, install new internal doors and install a new bannister. The work he carried out was highly professional, tidy and his attention to detail is fantastic. We left him to carry out the work whilst we were at work and by the time we came back it was all complete and the house was clean and tidy too. Would highly recommend him and he will be back in future to carry out more work for us 10/10 all round
