    Newel posts and banister

Gave an accurate price, stuck to it, they did a great job, really happy with the oak cladded newel posts, banister and spindles they did for us. Would use again and recommend to others.

New Oak internal doors throughout the house

My experience with James and Jack was absolutely excellent in every respect. From contacting me to agree a time to review the work, promptly providing me with a quote, and setting up a time for the works which fitted in with my busy diary, they were both prepared to take time and trouble to really understand what I wanted and then turned it into reality and made it happen. Several of the doors were in challenging places or had awkward openings but they dealt with these problems creatively, professionally and with real craftsmanship. Every stage of my interaction with them both was excellent, they were on time every time, friendly and immediately ready for work. They thoroughly cleaned up after themselves and even offered to help me replace furniture etc - superb! The doors are beautiful and exceed my expectations in every respect. The project came in on time (actually a bit early) and bang on budget. I can recommend Hardy carpentry 100% - you really aren't going to get any better carpenters in Horsham/area.

    A very reliable carpenter

James was polite, friendly and helpful. He replaced the decorative wood around our open porch and the work was of a very high standard. He and his colleague cleared up afterwards leaving my front garden spotless. I have no hesitation in recommending his work, in fact my neighbour has already asked for his number.
