Hartley Decorators are a small family run team of apprentice trained decorators with many years of experience in the trade. We cover the whole of West and North Yorkshire, with lots of finished projects around Wetherby and Harrogate.
We cover all aspects of decoration work, contemporary emulsion finishes, wallpaper application, stains and oil treatments for wood, spray finishes and kitchen unit refurbishment. We also have experience using speciality paints and spray equipment on UPVC windows.
We Have a company moto “here to help” we guide our customers through any project from start to finish, helping with choices of materials and colours and communicating the process so our customer knows what to expect throughout the job.

Stripping wall paper, painting walls and woodwork of 3 bedrooms, stairs, hall and living room
Gary and his team were excellent. From day one Gary was direct and honest, but also with a problem solving mindset. The team was punctual, worked tirelessly and completed the job within the timeframes provided and within the budget quoted. The team had a little setback with a ceiling however Gary managed to source a plasterer last minute to fix it. Overall, great job, done as discussed, in the times and quote agreed. What else can you ask for?

I’ve just moved into a new build property and required some rooms painted ahead of carpets and furniture being delivered. Gary agreed to do the work on a bank holiday and worked late to complete the job. Really nice guy, and very impressed with the work. Did a really thorough good job. Would highly recommend.
Painted and wallpapered two double bedrooms, painted kitchen and up two flights of stairs.
