Refurbishment of fireplace and skim coating of living room
We have used Nick on a number of occasions both inside and out. We own an old house, so nothing is straightforward. Nick is hugely knowledgeable and is always able to find a solution. He turns up when he says he will and leaves the place clean and tidy. Plastering following renovation works and repair of damaged kitchen ceiling
Nick and the team were back again to do another great job. I have been using Nick for many years and this is the third house he has worked on for me. I keep having him back as not only is the work of a really high standard, it is good value and the team are also polite, well mannered and tidy. They are very respectful of your house, protecting floors, sealing doors etc. I also find that Nick is very knowledgeable and helpful about how to tackle different jobs on different properties for instance he has done some great lime plaster work on an internal 300yr old wall. Fitting internal insulation, vapour control layer, plasterboard and skimming a new build house.
Nick Hartley did an excellent job on our newly erected timber framed house. He completed all the plaster boarding for walls and ceilings paying particular attention to the airtightness and vapour control requirements. The skimmed finish throughout is excellent. Nick also rendered the new garage and garden walls using through colour render. Nick and his team did a top quality job for us. They were reliable, trustworthy, friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Nick from Hartley Plastering is fantastic. A brilliant job plastering the kitchen. This is the second time I used Nick, the first time was for pointing a stone wall with lime cement.
