First time using CheckATrade and arranging electrical work myself. HCG responded quickly and attended the same day. Initially I wanted 3 sockets checked as one seemed faulty and another was not working properly. During the visit, one double socket was replaced and 3 additional double sockets were installed. Work was completed and certification provided, but the final cost of £600 felt much higher than expected. Later feedback from other electricians suggested the pricing was on the expensive side.
