Outstanding service at a great price
We think our new local locksmith, HD Keys, based in Meltham, is a real asset to the village. We've just had Ultion door locks fitted to our home and a new car key cut. The price was excellent, highly competitive and the best quote we received. The proprietor, Ben, was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and completely straightforward, explaining all product, labour and timescale details clearly. Even better, our new locks were fitted the very same day. Excellent workmanship, honest service and no hard sell. We wouldn't hesitate to use HD Keys again and highly recommend them. Going the extra mile to give a great service

Hi, I’m Ben, owner of HD Keys Locksmith.
HD Keys Locksmith is a family-run independent locksmith based in Meltham, proudly serving Huddersfield, Holmfirth and the surrounding areas.
My wife and I run the business together—she’ll often be the friendly voice answering the phone or welcoming customers into our shop, while I personally carry out all locksmith call-outs and vehicle key programming.
For your peace of mind, I’m fully insured, DBS checked and have successfully passed Checkatrade’s vetting process.
I believe in honest advice, quality workmanship and treating every customer’s home and property with the same care and respect as I would my own.
I specialise in lock repairs, lock replacements and security upgrades for uPVC, composite, wooden and garage personnel doors.
I regularly repair and replace multipoint locking mechanisms, gearboxes, centre cases, handles, keeps and cylinders.
Where it’s practical and safe to do so, I’ll always look to repair a faulty mechanism before recommending a replacement, helping to save customers unnecessary expense.
I also supply and fit insurance-approved locks, high-security cylinders and keyed alike systems, as well as carrying out non-destructive entry wherever possible.
Unlike many locksmiths, we also have a dedicated locksmith shop in Meltham, where customers are welcome to visit for key cutting, replacement locks, security products and friendly, expert advice.
Alongside locksmith services, I also specialise in vehicle key cutting and programming using professional equipment for a wide range of makes and models.
We cover both planned and emergency locksmith work throughout Huddersfield, Holmfirth and the surrounding areas and are always happy to provide honest advice and free, no-obligation quotations where appropriate.
