    Boiler service, radiator flush, and external flue extension.

    Prompt reply to initial message. Boiler service completed, rectifying an existing fault. Second visit to flush radiators and extend existing flue to bring up to required safety standards. All work carried out and completed efficiently ( and tidily) Very pleased with service, and have booked for yearly maintenance on boiler

    New boiler

    Fantastic service, thank you Mark. Very thorough service to old boiler (18 years old). Kept me fully informed and provided quotes etc promptly. No hassle or harassment, just courteous service. In the end I went for a new boiler and I am very pleased with the result. Now have a 10 year guarantee with the fitment, which is now up to current building regulations and safety standards. Can't fault the man! Highly recommended.

    Gas boiler service and gas appliances check

    Mark recently serviced our boiler and completed a safety check on our gas appliances. He was friendly and professional and kept us informed about his arrival. He did a thorough job and gave us lots of tips about the right settings for our boiler. Would definitely recommend him (and have already done so!).

Hello homeowners, I'm the owner of Heat Tweaks.


I am a well-accomplished heating engineer covering a 15-mile radius of Exeter. From the vibrant city quayside to beautiful costal Exmouth/Sidmouth/Dawlish and all the wonderful places between.


I really enjoy helping the people of Devon.


My plumbing career started twenty years ago as an apprentice on a building site, I quickly became passionate about how UK homes were built and went from plumbers mate to lead plumber before finishing my apprenticeship.


I then took on a new role as lead heating engineer at a reputable heating company in Devon, where I was regularly requested by high-end customers (including celebrities) to design and install their home heating improvements.


This all felt great only I was wearing someone else's uniform, so ten years ago I went on a personal mission to launch a business of my own subcontracting my skills to other heating companies across the UK, who continue to employ me today as a self employed boiler service and repair engineer for their Homecare customers.


I also started to build a portfolio of my own clients too, with a goal to create smart, standardised and simple to use heating systems with ultra low running costs, I soon understood that sustainable home comfort requires efficiency, quality and intelligence built-in.


And now, after twenty years of installing, servicing and repairing heating and hot water systems, such as solar thermal, biomass boilers, heat pumps and gas boilers.


I learned, that instead of investing heavily into the current cost of renewable technologies, sustainable home comfort is actually best achieved when making smaller, more affordable changes to your existing gas powered heating system.


This way, your heating and hot water requirements are being met using reliable fit-and-forget technology. And, you are also improving the energy performance of your home at the same time too, with an added benefit of generating a much sooner return on your investment.
