Work was completed whilst I was on holiday, Dave text asking for the £500. I refused until I saw - upon coming home very little work was completed, including 2 tiles that were resting in the gutter above the front door. Given the trust customers place in roofers, this was initially my only sign that the work was not completed - until I got up and took pictures myself. Also, the guttering was still leaking. Dave's men turned up and corrected the tiles - but the leaking gutter remains, and they are still full of silt. When I chased Dave and asked for a part refund.

I had a very bad leak from a broken gutter over several weeks, and was struggling to get it fixed. (Someone else tried and failed.) I found David on Checkatrade and he came round on the day I called. He cleared out loads of mess from the gutter and did something with the seals. He then (very helpfully) demonstrated that water was now flowing past the previously leaking joints, on to the down pipe. There hasn’t since been a very heavy rain, but as far as I can tell, it looks like the problem is solved. Pleased to have found a competent person to help at last - thank you David!
