Dave and the team were excellent. He talked through ideas for our garden design which we would never have thought about. He had a load of prep work to do to get the levels right before putting the base layer down and laying the slabs. He was able to guide us on the choice of slabs, where to put the raised beds. Nothing was too much trouble and any additional work was costed and agreed. Ben, Ollie and the rest of his team were excellent, they kept the job tidy and worked extremely hard every day even in the extreme heat. Can’t recommend Hills contractors highly enough.

Dave & the team have been excellent. The project was a phase 1 of 2 garden restoration where 2/3rds of an acre had been neglected for over 10 years and bramble and thorn bushes completely took over. Amongst 6 contractors who initially viewed and provided quotes, Hills were clear front runners. Hills provided a competitive quote with a demonstratable portfolio of excellence. Reassuringly, Dave and the team were as good as portrayed, the work was completed within a good time frame and we now have a garden our children can begin to enjoy.

Dave laid our patio around 8 years ago and the quality still speaks for itself today. He professionally prepared the base with hardcore and weed membrane, cut and laid the slabs with precision, and designed a fantastic tiered garden using wooden sleepers and turf. Finished off with white decorative stones around the edges, it still looks brilliant. No weeds, no loose or rocking slabs, and after a yearly jet wash it looks as good as new. Highly recommended.

Dave and his team did a brilliant job at landscaping my garden. Due to its size and gradient they added in 2 retaining walls creating 3 levels to the garden including a porcelain patio layer, gravel and composite decking layers. The garden is so much more manageable from the horse field it once was so thank you
