Office renovation
Knew Calum through other folk, trusted him to do work in my office. Was quoted quite high for the work but accepted it. Calum seldom turned up, if he did turn up it was late. Then there was days he’d go missing and come back with things about family passing. Then he got a payment for materials, materials have not appeared in full, but the next day Calum was due to appear he didn’t. Three days later he says he’s in hospital with a busted hand. That was the 5th of august. Finally heard back just before his wedding on the 2nd of September. New doors and entrance to church hall for disabled ramp
Booked Calum in May to carry out work on the 5th July on church hall. Paid upfront for material on 24th June. Calum failed to appear on 5th July phoned him said he would be there on 6th July again no appearance came on 7th July put in door. After numerous phone calls and texts came back one day end of July to do work on the wall. Since then up to 18th Aug he sent at least 10 texts saying he would appear he never did. He refuses to answer any phone calls or texts. Would not recommend him to anyone as a two day job has not been completed only half done and has left us with no entry to hallVerified reviewerJob location: G679.5 Builder

Highly recommend
Highly recommend Hold Fast Construction. Calum is friendly, professional and listened to everything I wanted done (had a number of jobs for him to complete) and everything was done perfectly.
