    Utility room boarding and skimming

    I booked Holloway plasterers for the renovations works I wanted doing in my utility room. I was visited prior to the works commencing by Darren who surveyed the room, took measurements and made recommendations regarding the insulation and which type of plasterboard would be best for the job. Overall at this point I was very impressed with how courteous and professional he was and so a price, the works and a date was agreed. It was safe to say that the works was completed in a very tidy, clean and punctual manner and I can’t recommend this firm enough. Thanks again for a clean and tidy job!

    We had a living room took back to the brick, ceiling overboarded all 4 walls boarded & skimmed. Mark & Jamey talked us through every step of the job very polite & courteous, top quality workmanship & the cleanliness was excellent, would definitely recommend & would definitely use again

    I’ve had multiple jobs done by Holloway plastering they go from full houses to bedrooms living rooms hallways we use as a subcontractor and there are always a first person we call because they do such a great job from start to finish

    Excellent! Would highly recommend. They’ve completed a Chip off and reapply of K Rend, The team were extremely Helpful and polite, they worked really hard And provided a quality service! Their Attention to detail and making sure they finish is Excellent! Even down to the cleanup once they were finished was exceptional! With it be such a large project, they gave confidence in their capabilities and expectations. Overall, I’m really happy with the outcome and looks fantastic! Anyone who’s looking for Renderer I would recommend again again!

    had the whole upstairs plastered

    I contracted Holloway to plaster the whole of my upstairs (£8000) hackoff board and skim, they were not the cheapest but I figured il pay the extra to guarantee a good job, what a mistake, within the first week every single plasterboard joint had cracked from floor to cieling, Holloway came back to fill them, but most were not done properly and can still be seen, we then put the mist coat on and realised just how bad of a job they have done, the finish is appalling, the walls are not level, trowl marks on every wall and cieling, socket cutting out is terrible, the worse job I've seen in 20 yrs

    We are sorry you are unhappy with service you were provided with, the methods used to plaster you property are the same we use all the time and we have never had a complaint about the quality of workmanship , we will use this as a lesson on future jobs. We have under the consumer rights act 2015 offered to rectify the work which you have declined and also offered you a 100% refund for the skimming element of the job of £2,000 which you initially accepted but then refused. I have at every point tried to resolve and de-escalate this situation but you are unhappy to accept our offers so not sure how else we can resolve this matter.
