    Martin has done work for us before (laid a patio, that's still looking great! :o). This time we wanted an old patio removed, turf dug out to the same level and brick-edged. Martin did an excellent job, clarifying ambiguous points in my description of the work. We're delighted with the result and would happily use him again. Highly recommended!

    From quote to finish I couldn't fault Martins work. Always tidy and kept in touch throughout. I would definitely recommend and will be using Holmes building and repairs again.

    Patio laying

    What can I say. They came exactly when they said they would, from quote to actually doing the work. He kept in contact with us for everything, From delivery times of materials to when he would arrive . Everything was left tidy and clean afterwards and the new Patio looks fantastic. Will be using him again for future work. Highly recommend Holmes building & repairs

    Underpinning and rebuilding stone wall

    Excellent - we did not hesitate to get Martin to underpin and rebuild our stone wall as we have always been extremely pleased with his work for us over the last eight years. This work was particularly challenging and we are so grateful to Martin for rebuilding the wall so well and for his advice and good communication. We were away for a few days and Martin sent regular updates, finished the wall and cleared everything away - fantastic.

Hi my name's Martin Holmes and have been running my business since October 2016.Although I had been subcontracting to different companies for year's previous to this.I've been building 12 year's now and love my job. Main reason of starting my business is that I pride myself on customer satisfaction. I have high standards on any work that I do and believe in the saying that if I wouldn't be happy with the work then I wouldn't expect any customer to be either. I believe in having very good contact with any of my customer's. For an example one of my previous customers worked away in London so I kept them up to date by emailing picture's throughout the job.
