  Excellent on all fronts

  Martin carried out a superb landscaping of our old driveway to create a new garden and lawned area, removed an area of dead trees and scrub which was replaced with new fencing, installed a soakaway and ACO drainage system, relaid the driveway with honeycomb grid inlaid with Cotswold stone. Also he moved the garden shed among several other smaller jobs. (see before, during and after photos) Martin is careful, thoughtful, polite, hardworking and creative. He listens and makes sensible suggestions to improve the project. He is highly recommended, plus he provided a reasonable quotation.

  Decking

  Martin Holmes really knows what he's doing very reliable and does an excellent job.

  Martin has completed three jobs on our property the first one was removing an old shed and putting down a concrete base for the new shed. The third one was installing some timbers to help support an earth bank. Third one was removing some old timber decking and installing new decking and new timbers below the decking also fitting the balustrades with crosshatch panels either side.Installed some new trellis and paving slabs.. Martin really knows what he's doing very reliable and does an excellent job.

  Great workmanship, reliable, excellent comms

  Martin repaired a garden brick wall and also did some lime mortar repointing on the house. The standard of workmanship was excellent, he worked quickly and efficiently, kept the site tidy and cleared up really well at the end. Martin was just right for this sort of work and I wouldn't hesitate to ask him back to do more work. He was reliable, the price was fair for the work, he turned up on time every day and he was proactive in suggesting things and seeking to do the highest quality job. Highly recommended.

  Excellent work on wall reinstatement, very pleased with the result.

  Martin re-instated a wall for us which had been badly damaged by an oil tanker. He did an extremely good job and ensured that the new piece of wall matched the remaining piece of the original wall such that you really can't see the join. He maintained the rustic style very well. He worked in some very poor weather but still did a great job and was really clean and tidy. We were very pleased with the result and would definitely have him back if we had any further work required.
