Fencing and trellis
Hortons Building - Glen - has been wonderful. He is professional, trustworthy, tidy and incredibly knowledgeable about combining the needs for our property with what would look best, last the longest and give us value for money. He provided us with photos of brick and trellis combinations putting them into CAD style plans and costing them so that we could better visualise different options. He carried out work on our holiday home and sent us photo, text and email updates through out the project. The project came in on budget and we have used him for additional works including garden paving.

Appalling communication, not answering texts or calls
Glen came across as very charming and competent when we first met in June. Paid upfront for some bespoke bricks to be made. Start date keeps getting pushed back by weeks at a time. Finally got hold of him and confirmed the latest start date, which has been and gone. This was refunded in full along with a goodwill payment following the review

To remove existing trees and shrubs and insert wooden fence panels between our garden and next door

Pointing, rendering, decking, fencing and brick laying
Glen is very professional, courteous and considerate. All work completed to a high standard with good attention to the finishing touches, and at a competitive price. He and Josh were at my property for a total of three weeks and good fun to have around. Always happy to keep me informed as to how the work was progressing and what they planned for the next day, taking any unforeseen issues in their stride. Horton Building are now my go-to-guys for any external building work.

Replace front garden fence
I've used Glen before so didn't hesitate to call him for a quote which was very competitive. He undertook the work and carried it out methodically, to a high standard and ensured I was completely satisfied. The work area was left clean and tidy after the work.
