Although the start of work was delayed due to lockdown, it was planned in as soon as possible and I was consulted on the dates. The team started exactly on time, and did a fantastic job, working around self-isolation criteria. The job was finished to an excellent standard, and the site left tidy. Everyone was helpful at all times. Would thoroughly recommend.

I first had my back door replaced with a window and they did a great job at selecting bricks to match and the brickwork was super, especially as one side of my house was slightly higher than the other! I also asked to replace my dormer window roof. This job was a bit more tricky to get completed and they ended up sub-contracting the job. I would definitely get them back and Danny especially is great at keeping in touch through the process. They weren't the tidiest contractor I've had (plaster left on floor and muddy prints around windows by sub-contractors) but it didn't detract from the work.

I cannot say enough good things about Houghton Construction. Highly recommend. What started out as repairing a water leak in the roof, further investigation gave us all sorts of issues. All of this was dealt with by Houghtons and the team, that were all co ordinated by Houghtons, seamlessly. Everyone courteous, friendly help and informative.

Houghton construction were very good at keeping us informed, providing answers and solutions where problems arose. Very pleased all round.

Extension to property, involving new kitchen, new bathroom, en suite and additional bedroom. Also converted old kitchen area into day room/ utility room.

Completed in a timely and professional manner. Their attitude to the work was first class.
