Chris and his team made a fantastic job of our en suite! We had a tired, awkwardly shaped, no-frills room which has been completely transformed with the help of Houghton Home Improvements. Chris steered us through the options, and made great recommendations for local suppliers who could help us with the design and supply of what we had in mind for the space. When it came to installation, Andy and Wojtek were utterly brilliant - punctual, incredibly tidy, and expert all round. The quality of the finish is top notch - we're absolutely delighted with the result.

Chris and his team were extremely professional throughout (from the initial visit to the completion of the job). He sent us the initial quotes and the revisions promptly. The two painters (Nico and Aaron) arrived early or on time and finished at the same time each day. They were polite, courteous and respectful of the property. They finished the job early (within 4 days instead of the quoted 5 days). Chris was easy to communicate with at all times. I am really glad that we used Houghton Home Improvements for our property. Houghton Home Improvements (HHI) refurbished a bathroom for our disabled son. Works included liaising with specialist suppliers of accessibility equipment for his needs. HHI took ownership and project managed the whole process and delivered all the trades. They provided a brilliant, outstanding service all round. We had a programme of works issued in advance together with an agreed itemized schedule of works and budget. They kept us well informed in advance at each stage. The great bit is, it all happened on time and budget, their communication with us throughout the period was excellent.

Chris Houghton is an excellent builder. We employed him to carry out a wholesale refurbishment of my mother’s house. This included brand new kitchen, removing a structural wall, full overhaul of electrics and complete redecoration including re plastering of artex ceilings.
