  Scammed.

  Leaflet dropped through door. Contacted and price and details agreed to paint a small cottage. Part payment up front. Started work. Contacted again and was asked to pay in full so he could pay for partners birthday gift. I foolishly did. Only 70 % of the cottage completed and poor workmanship. Painted oak doors chocolate brown. Since blocked on all platforms.

  Render repair to the front of my house, and painting the outside of my house

  I am writing this review as Tony Howard contacted me after I posted a job. He contacted me that day and did the work right away. A month later it is cracking and coming away... I have no idea how he got my details.  I have raised a complaint about this.  I am writing the review for this reason - I am very unhappy with how he got my details..

  Do not trust Tony Howard or this company

  The worst experience I have had with trade ever. Tony assured me he could fix the problem I showed him inside my bungalow - roof gully leaking. He quoted an amount for 1-2 days work then declared it finished after 2hrs and insisted I paid there and then. He left a mess of nails and mortar in the downpipe and drain and left my hosepipe on. He came back when I said still leaking - patched more mortar on it. Worse still it is not fixed - in fact it is much worse. And then guess what - he tells me that other issues are causing it that he now says also need fixing. He refuses to give 50% refund

  Please be careful - Got the money and no job done

  Please be careful about this company and about Tony Howard. He quoted for garage door replacement £550 and insisted on getting £450 deposit. He did not get the door and did not do the job. He then sent that he will not be able to do the work. He did not return the money after more than 3 months so far. No address even can be found so far for him.

  Replacement fascias and barge boards

  Having read the Checkatrade CoP I believe he did not comply plus poor workmanship. Tony Howard cold called and offered to replace fascias and barge boards and said could offer a good price as work was slow. His promise was that he would do a good job and we wouldn't have to pay until we were happy. He chased and turned up 3 times during week and even told me to phone my husband who was at work to get go ahead. On the Friday we agreed to work being done and he said he was going onto the roof to measure up. While he was up there he took down all the guttering then knocked on the door to...
