    Perfectionist

    Julian is a first-rate painter & decorator and an all-round good guy. He took time to understand what we wanted and gave us a few ideas too. He is trustworthy, hard-working and reliable. He’s also a perfectionist, which means the job you get is not finished until he’s happy with it. Like all good tradesmen, he’s booked-up well in advance, but worth the wait. Highly recommended.

    Whole ground floor redecorated plus landing and stairs

    Julian and Michelle are absolute stars. The work followed on from significant renovations after the discovery of damp and them coming in and redecorating was the start of it feeling like home again. They put up with my questions and calling in on the house, and were happy to add a little more work in. Works were finished in May following lockdown and they kept me up to date on when it could happen.

    Painting and wallpapering in the living room

    Julian arrived as arranged to have a look and provide a quote, Which was provided on the same day. We felt very comfortable leaving them in the house whilst we were at work and the room was finished on time and to an extremely high standard. I would definitely recommend them.

    Painting of new kitchen, hallway and cloakroom

    HSL painted our kitchen/diner, hall, staircase and cloakroom. I would highly recommend them after completing a professional job ahead of schedule. Julian and Michelle were extremely friendly and trustworthy and we will definitely use them again. Great job.
