  Internal door fitting

  Hugh was outstanding from start to end of the job. He gave advice on doors, fittings and more to ensure we got exactly what we needed. His workmanship is second to none, as well as perfect punctuality, professionalism and communication. Highly recommend Hugh and we will use him again!

  Kitchen Repairs

  I found Hugh's details on the internet when I was searching for a carpenter to make some repairs to a boxed-in section of my kitchen wall following installation of a new boiler. Hugh was quick to respond. He came round, assessed the work involved and gave a clear description of how he would carry it out. We agreed a date and time and he arrived exactly when he said he would. The work was carried out to a good standard and without causing any damage or leaving any mess behind. I found Hugh to be very friendly and I would certainly ask him back if any carpentry jobs need doing in future.

  Fitted new shelves in cupboard space

  I couldn’t praise Hugh more; he has been extremely helpful, and his work shows for itself. I will be using him again without a doubt. Hugh on multiple occasions contacted me to double check, and make sure what he had done was what I wanted which is exceptionally reassuring. It feels that Hugh loves his work, and that itself shows when it’s all complete.

  Built in cupboard

  Hugh did his 3rd set of work for us recently. This time he built in a cupboard, hung a new door, fitted shelves in a pantry and fitted a new window board. The decor in the hallway is all recently done with a particularly unforgiving matt finish but Hugh was extremely careful and we needn’t have worried. There aren’t many right angles in the house and after finishing the cupboard having built it square to the wall, he returned to rebuild it, this time squaring it to the floor tiles which looks better. This is typical of Hugh, the attention to detail marks him out.

  7 new doors fitted

  I recently hired Hugh to fit seven new internal doors in my home, and I couldn't be happier with the service provided. From start to finish. The doors all look great and are fitted perfectly. Hugh was a fast worker and cleaned up when job was finished. Would highly recommend him and would definitely use his services again.
