Very good decorator. Thoroughly recommend
We had Ian knight do a major job on the exterior of our house on the recommendation of a friend after our own decorator who we have used for years retired. Ian did a fantastic job and we will definitely use again for inside and outside jobs. He doesn’t cut any corners with the preparatory work , is very neat and fastidious and is an extremely hard worker. We had challenging conditions this summer with pouring rain and extreme heat but he circumnavigated both and got the job done . Decoration of the whole interior of the house.
We are delighted at the quality of the work which involved the complete redecoration of the interior of the house, as well as the excellent and friendly communication and that our timescale was met. We couldn't be more pleased with Ian, and his Dad! He is always on time, courteous, efficient, tidy, as well as being a first class decorator. He explained thoroughly what he would be doing and always kept us informed if he needed to change anything and why. Hall, landing, stairs paint and wallpaper
This was the second time we had employed Ian ( first time was for outside painting) . Both times his work has been of a high standard. He takes time and care to prepare thoroughly and to cover or protect the surrounding area. He sometimes works with his father and they are both nice guys to have in the house . A bit about myself and my business...
I started decorating in 2000 learning on the tools alongside my father who has 50 years experience. Sometimes he will join me on larger jobs but I tend work by myself as he is semi retired.
I do a large range of work, usually interior and exterior redecoration and extensions but I also have experience in shops, hotels (Spread Eagle Hotel in Midhurst) pubs (Winterton Arms in Chiddingfold) Village Halls (Grayshott) and schools (Fernhurst pre school). I have also done a large amount of work for landlords on rental properties, either between tenants or whilst the property is occupied.
I take huge pride in my work, whether it be a 5 bedroom house or a rental property. I can offer professional advice and opinion on products and colours, feature walls and paint finishes. I have tradesmen that I can recommend and scaffolders I regularly use and would also recommend.
