    This was the second time we had employed Ian ( first time was for outside painting) . Both times his work has been of a high standard. He takes time and care to prepare thoroughly and to cover or protect the surrounding area. He sometimes works with his father and they are both nice guys to have in the house . We have no hesitation in recommending Ian .

    Ian and Malcolm are absolute perfectionists when it comes to their work and were a pleasure to have in the house. They are always on time, stick to the time schedule and are completely trustworthy. This is the third time we have had them back, which speaks for itself. Having painted the exterior of the house last Summer they are now working their way through the interior, both painting and wallpapering, couldn’t be happier with their work and attention to detail and we are having them back again next year!

    Ian had to do 5 coats on the walls and an undercoat and 3 coats on the woodwork due to the nature of the paint. He took it all in his stride and was uncomplaining in spite of the extra work - he absolutely went the extra mile. He was a pleasure to have in the house, extremely tidy and considerate. As they say - not all heroes wear capes! I would have no hesitation in recommending him and will be having him back to do the rest of the house over time - inside and out.

A bit about myself and my business...

I started decorating in 2000 learning on the tools alongside my father who has 50 years experience. Sometimes he will join me on larger jobs but I tend work by myself as he is semi retired.

I do a large range of work, usually interior and exterior redecoration and extensions but I also have experience in shops, hotels (Spread Eagle Hotel in Midhurst) pubs (Winterton Arms in Chiddingfold) Village Halls (Grayshott) and schools (Fernhurst pre school). I have also done a large amount of work for landlords on rental properties, either between tenants or whilst the property is occupied.

I take huge pride in my work, whether it be a 5 bedroom house or a rental property. I can offer professional advice and opinion on products and colours, feature walls and paint finishes. I have tradesmen that I can recommend and scaffolders I regularly use and would also recommend.
