  Misleading "Free Estimates" & Unauthorized Charges

  I chose IJB for their "Free Estimates" but was charged £180. - £80 (1hr labor) for initial 25min visit. Trader claims I "didn't ask" for the free quote, but never disclosed fees beforehand. "Strip Down" Excuse: Trader claims removing a clip-on cover (30secs) is a "strip down" that invalidates the free estimate. Engineer ordered parts immediately without consulting me first. I was not given a price until after the order was placed, preventing me from approving the cost beforehand. Charged £180 for £20 parts + 45mins work. "Free Estimate" appear to not exist unless you use those "magic words".

  Boiler break down

  Our boiler stopped working and Sean came out the same day to get it working again, he unblocked the pump and got the heating and hot water going. Was clean and polite and very helpful, would highly recommend

  Sean was a fantastic, personable professional, who turned up quickly to the job, identified the problem, and got stuck in until it was done. He explained everything that he was doing to ensure I understood what was happening, and I was impressed with the end result and competitive service.   Boiler replacement, remove old water tanks, shower pump & pipework. Fit NEST Thermostat & iphone APP

  From the initial point of contact through to completion (3day job) Ian & Sean provided a professional & courteous service. They arrived on time, knew exactly what they were doing and solved my problem still giving me hot & cold water supply at the end of each day, not to mention my much loved POWER shower! They even changed the Job requirements and immediately included this when I requested a thermostat upgrade to a new NEST WiFi Thermostat with iphone APP control. What a Service!!! I will be using and recommending IJB to all my friends and family.
