David Manchester started work 03/06/19 and stopped 01/07/19 due to sickness. David left the job unfinished, with all tools and materials left on site. Every two weeks we were promised he would return to work within the next two weeks, this never happened. This went on for approximately 5 months (estimated completion date: 22/07/19). In December 2019 we informed David that we believed him in breach of contract due to the protracted delay. We believe we have overpaid £3,944 for the work undertaken to date. We have requested this amount is refunded yet we have received no response.
