  Fresh bathroom and good service

IVM Homes recently did some painting, skimming, and window waterproofing work for us in our bathroom. The final result looks great, and the bathroom feels fresh and clean. Communication with the team was always easy, as they were very responsive to calls and messages.

Extension over single storey 1992 extension to mid 19th century 3 bed cottage

This was the second time I had competed this project. First time the quotes from 3 local and one regional firm way in excess of anticipated price, based on cost per square foot locally and central London. I dropped a central green energy element of the proposal, reacquired planning permission after 4 years and received new bids from an established local building company, and a new company, responding to my project description on Checkatrade. Both bids were more realistic than four years earlier. The winning bid was not vastly lower than the established local builder, but had more precise conditions that gave me confidence I could control the project cost, affordability being central to a single opportunity on retirement to create a forever home. Major risk was the company lead was foreign and his first sole building project having worked with an uncle for 3 years and had sole landscaping work that had good reviews. He was also only 23. But he and his back story impressed. My bank refused to let me pay him, substituting their judgement for mine. I was right. Work ethic awesome, quality excellent, project design improved. I STRONGLY recommend this company. My Bank: replaced.
