Really happy with the work carried out and how helpful James was with planning on the job.

From the first planning meeting we found James very easy to talk to and communication was excellent throughout the whole project. We were always told about the next stage of the extension and given plenty of notice about any decisions that needed to be taken. All contractors seemed to have been organised well in advance so there were no unforeseen delays due to waiting on one element to be completed and the work was actually finished slightly ahead of schedule. All the work was completed to a high standard and the few snagging issues that did arise were all swiftly dealt with.

Addy Builders carried out an extensive 2 storey house extension and refurbishment project at our home during 2018. This involved the demolition of part of the existing house (originally built in 1930) and rebuilding, doubling the original living area. The structural work was completed in a thorough and professional manner, despite being hampered by very difficult weather conditions. James Addy has worked in partnership with us and proved to be very customer focused, prepared to change things on the rare occasion that they didn’t go as planned or in our case, when unforeseen challenges arose.
