If you’re looking for someone who will give you a fair quote, be easily contactable, will turn up exactly when he says he will and do the job to a really high standard then stop looking, you’ve found him! I couldn’t be happier with the service from James. He worked so hard and took so much care and pride over the job. It was only a relatively small job and other bricklayers had messed me about so much, but James was totally different; he was reliable, professional and so nice as well. I’m so pleased with the finished wall, it looks perfect! He’s a gem, would recommend him to anyone!

James is an excellent bricklayer and completed the work that I required to a very high standard at a very reasonable cost. As such I understand James is a busy man with lots of work and I did have to wait longer that expected due to unforeseen circumstances but he was worth the wait. Despite this I would definitely contact him again for any future work and I would recommend him highly. Thank you James!

The work was not carried out. The cost of the repair to the wall was to be paid by a third party. There was a lot of going back and forth and on seeing the cost for the repair to the wall the third party refused to pay hence why the work was not carried out. I must commend that throughout this saga Mr Bates was very patient polite and helpful.
