  My house had old timber framed windows which were past their best. I got quotes for replacement from several companies including J and J Hunter. John Hunter quoted me a fair price and we agreed a start date a few weeks later. The complete installation took around 10 days, the finished result was first class, we liked that the two installers laid dust sheets whilst working inside and tidied up at the end of every day. They kept us informed on progress with daily reports and were always friendly and approachable. I'm more than happy to recommend J and J Hunter, a very professional company.

• New front door and canopy.

  This is the second time that we have used J&J Hunter Brothers. This time it was time to have the front door replaced and the canopy redone. We cannot fault the quality of the work and the professionalism. Nothing was a drama and both were cheerful and polite. The job site was cleaned thoroughly and all waste was removed. Something you don’t often see. As well as completing the work constructive suggestions were made regarding construction, design and finishing. Everything from plant pots to door bells.
