    Friendly professional service

    James & Liam decorated our hall and stairwell in the process they repaired some water damage and plaster in places. Both are extremely professional and friendly and I was impressed by their work ethic and the finish they achieved. They provided a daily update on what they expected to achieve that day and the following day and a regular estimate of when they anticipated to finish. The start date was delayed by events outside their control but they kept in regular contact which was pleasing and gave confidence in their approach to customers. We would have no hesitation in instructing them again.

    Complete downstairs shower room revamp

    Amazing work from Liam and James. My downstairs bathroom badly needed modernising. They dug out the concrete floor, with no knowledge of what drainage would be underneath, raised the ceiling to give a decent shower height, and installed a new toilet and sink. The work was carried out smoothly, the guys are friendly, and kept me informed throughout the job if they found anything unexpected, so we could consider the options together. Would completely recommend them, and will happily use them again

    The painting and decoration of 3 hallways

    We have recently had our house decorated by James & Liam and it’s the second time that we have used their services. The reason why is simple:- They are professional, reliable and the quality of painting and carpentry and decoration was excellent hence why we continue to use them. If you want quality, professionalism and reliability to do the job myself and my wife can totally recommend them and will be using them again for sure again in the future.

    Professional, Knowledgeable Respectful, Honest,

    When Liam came to quote for some decorating works he immediately put me at ease, was knowledgeable, helpful & honest regarding our budget. I booked them for the job & it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Throughout the whole process James & Liam took so much care over their work, kept me informed at every stage, gave brilliant advice if something needed to be adjusted or changed & took pride in producing the best job. James & Liam, a rare find these days, decent, honest, hardworking lads, who I can’t recommend highly enough.

Welcome to our new and exciting updated page! J&L Painting and Carpentry!

Previously owner of JDH Painting and Decorating, now I am now in business with my work partner Liam currently All Things Sorted now trading under J&L Painting and Carpentry. We joined forces to give customers the chance to have more work done but by the same company.

We are now based in Ashford and will still cover Bromley, but mostly covering Maidstone and Ashford.

We are professional, reliable and experienced in all aspects of painting and carpentry.

Recently stopped taking on wallpapering jobs so I can concentrate on the other areas of decorating.

We also offer plastering, skimming, and general maintenance, including gutter cleaning, repairs and new gutters fitted too.

We can turn your house into a home, your workplace into a pleasure and give your office a warm, bright, relaxing feel that you look forward to going too.

We like to keep the area that we are working in clean and tidy, and we like to produce a high standard of work.
