James is both impeccably professional and skilful. He has a naturally friendly nature and makes great suggestions from his vast experience without placing me under any pressure at all. The finish was superb and when he’d left there wasn’t a spot of mess or anything for me to do.

We can highly recommend James if you require a painter/decorator, he has decorated several rooms at our property in the last few years, the lounge/dining room recently completed . His work is excellent and he is friendly reliable and keeps in touch regarding start dates ect and his pricing fair. We have already booked him to decorate our kitchen later in the year..

Fantastic work by James! We wanted colour and he did not disappoint. Every room needed some form of plastering and woodwork completing. He covered up a huge hole in the wall. It was deep enough that multiple bricks were showing. Once James was finished, it was impossible to tell where the hole was. He boarded around our wardrobes to make them look built-in. He was fully on board with our plan of no white walls, woodwork or ceilings, and he contributed ideas and even put up with our last-minute changes. We would 100% use him again and fully recommend him to everyone!

I contacted James for a quote to 'redo' my bathroom ceiling. The bathroom had been refurbished 3 years prior, but the plaster on the ceiling hadn't been sealed properly and the thin coat of paint was peeling and flaking everywhere. James gave me a very reasonable quote, we agreed that I would purchase the materials needed and he advised what he intended to do, in order that this would have the best chance of remaining clear of flakes/mould. James arrived promptly as agreed, worked so hard in the heat and was extremely thorough. A very friendly, reliable and respectful person. Thank you!

James did an excellent job of painting the front and back of our house and has completely transformed the property. We have used James on numerous projects before and he always does an excellent job. James takes pride in his work and we will definitely use him again in the future he is friendly, professional and easy to work with and he always finds the best solution to any issues you may have.

This is the 2nd time I've employed James to do work for me, and like the 1st time, he's done an amazing job. I needed the whole of the front exterior painted, some old rendering and cracks to be resurfaced, 2 battery operated security lights to be fitted and the front step to be tiled. He is very methodical in his approach and has done a really lovely job (all my neighbours think so too) and in a timely manner!! I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending James, as he is a true professional and a real joy to work with.
