• Water mains leak in the front garden

  The plumber was very courteous. He turned up when he said he would. He kept us fully informed of the problems encountered on the way and dealt with them in a calm and organised manner. He had to dig up part of the garden but put it all together at the end and cleared up before he left.

  John booked us in quickly for a quote and gave us an honest opinion on the job. Our joint conclusion was that the job wasn't going to be worth the cost and upheaval. We really appreciated John's honesty and knowledge, and I'd definitely be asking him to help out with any jobs that do need doing in the future.

• Assessment of possible leak

  John dropped by on his way home from a previous job. Carried out a quick assessment and advised that it was probably a different issue - one that would need a gas engineer. So he left but kindly didn’t charge us for call out.
