  James couldn't have been more helpful and informative right from the beginning. I had a complicated job that needed coordinating with Northern Power and British Gas, when everything went wrong with the other two technicians - James was really patient and accommodating. He gave me all the info I needed. He was very professional and friendly. He got on with everything quickly and the work is exactly what I needed. He always tidies up very carefully once finished. Couldn't be happier. Would be my first choice if I needed electrical work again.

• Moving the fuse box/consumer unit in the house we have just bought

  Dave and Jordan didn’t stop all day. We have bought a house in the Yorkshire Dales and JC electrical gave us a very good price for the work. They wanted to be efficient with travel and complete it in one day. The guys set too early morning and just Carried on right through the day, keeping the house clean and tidy even though the work involved cutting into ceilings and accessing sub floor space and drilling in from the outside. The new consumer box is far neater and safer than what we had previously and meets our house insurance requirements. Would highly recommend them.

• Primeval and reinstatement of solar panels

  Solar panels were already installed on our building when we purchased it. It became clear that the roof was leaking underneath.This required a number of trades to work together. JC Electrical organised for the scaffolding, removal, the roofing contractor and the replacement of the panels as well as providing netting to prevent the birds from returning to nest underneath. On completion the job looks perfect. I had to check that the netting had been installed. It was so neat I couldn’t see it at first glance. So much better when you can find someone who will coordinate other trades. Great job
