  Martin & Paul worked very hard to complete the work I required doing and to my satisfaction. They completed the work on time in a very professional way. They left the property clean and tidy. Also a big thankyou to James who arranged the work to be carried out at a very reasonable cost. Thanks guys.

  Slap Dash- Ok-ish job- Earth works and patio installation

  It’s finished ok (emphasis on ok) but required alot of supervision. Had to redo 2 sections of paving as was extremely lumpy and uneven (some slabs a trip hazard). Contractors turned up whenever they felt like and left after a couple of hours, having done minimal amounts of work; job took twice as long as quoted. Didn't show up one day. No call to tell us. Very untidy. Cans and cigarette butts thrown on the floor on the road. Grouting poor. Looked ok but now falling apart after 2 weeks. Cut gate post for some reason and left big hole. Wouldnt recommend to a friend. Overall polite.

  New driveway

  Booked JCS Landscapes to dig out our old driveway which was tarmac and replace with new pavers. Also wanted our front garden revamped with sandstone slabs. This led to our side path being paved as well and also a new extended patio to rear. 11 days of hard work by the team left us with what we wanted. The work has been much admired by passers by with good comments from neighbours.

  Front garden fence and slabs

  James was very enthusiastic to chase my job and take my money. The men were very hardworking and I kept them going with coffee and bacon butties however they were very untidy and used neighbours gardens to put my old fence on and another one to do other jobs on. I have a lot of loose slabs, fence posts at different heights, unsuitable gate latch which I have since replaced myself. Also they used one of my original posts and poorly covered it with fence slabs. The gate also has nails coming through. I have messaged James quite a few times with the promise of coming back. I am not a happy

  Full garden, front and side given a new life!

  The whole experience for us was simply brilliant. We had a huge amount of work completed, essentially starting from scratch outside the property. We did what most people do and got a few quotes, but James came with suggestions and ideas that saved us a fortune and gave us a brilliant uniformed look in all areas. The team were polite, extremely hardworking and skilful. They tidied as they went and checked we were happy at multiple stages. All overseen by James for continuity across the project. Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and highly recommend.

  Garden clearance and decking installation

  James seemed to understand which plants should remain. However, he would drop off a gang of young men every day, then go off to other jobs. Therefore the team were unsupervised and mistakes were made. There was scant regard to health and safety: James’s young sons were left unsupervised and no PPE was worn by the team when using axes. Composite decking was laid using insufficient support beneath and is very insecure to walk on. These problems were verified by an independent handyman. James has ignored requests to carry out remedial works. Very unprofessional.
