Charlie Spears did a great job removing all the rotten turf off my back garden and replacing it with first a membrane then shingle. He is a very pleasant, hardworking and trustworthy young man.

We used them to build raised sleeper beds (150 sq m in length) filled with 14 tonnes of top soil and to build a wooden pergola to our specification. We are very pleased with the work that was carried out. The work was done on time and in budget and tidied up afterwards. Excellent result all round.

We contacted Charlie from JC Spiers Ltd based on recommendations. We found Charlie and Matt easy to talk to and full of ideas. And when it came to doing the work I can’t fault them. They work hard but more importantly they are conscientious about the work they do. We can thoroughly recommend JC Spiers and Charlie without any reservation.

Charlie and team are efficient, hard working and polite. I have used JC Spiers twice now, each time to replace an old fence, their work is excellent. They are efficient workers, tidy and take pride in the work they do. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommending them to others.

Charlie and his team have carried out works on various occasions for us and they have never let us down. This time we had some hedging and roots removed, more fencing installed, some big Laurel tree limbs removed, an overgrown hedge greatly reduced in height and a concrete block laid ready for other works later. All work was completed, as usual, to our complete satisfaction. Charlie, Alfie and Matt carried out the works and all are friendly, very hard working and polite. Minor challenges can occur but are always resolved very amicably which is another plus. Another great experience.
