Jev was great! He turned up on time, did the job quickly and well. No trouble at all! He had also bought some parts that did not fit the job and he didn't try to charge me for them which was appreciated. I'd recommend him to friends and family!

  Painting of walls and wallpaper

After removing wallpaper, I discovered a large crack in my living-room wall and consulted several tradespeople before hiring Jevgenijs. He inspected the work, quoted for it and assured me it could all be completed in one day. Before he arrived, I had stripped the wallpaper, cleaned the walls, cleared the room and covered my furniture. Unfortunately, the work was not completed to an acceptable standard. He filled the crack without sanding it smooth and began wallpapering before the filler had fully dried. He painted a wall we had agreed to paint only after the wallpaper was up, leaving paint on the new, expensive paper. He also filled over a plastic wall plug, leaving a raised patch, and did not properly sand the repairs. When filled areas remained visible, we decided to wallpaper that wall too. The main crack repair is now a prominent blister beneath the wallpaper, and wallpaper lifted after he left. Jevgenijs returned the next day to reglue the loose sections, but became intimidating when I raised the visible defect . I had to pay for his bad labour alongside over £200 on materials, but now face further costs to correct the work. ❗️Full review included in the pictures ❗️
