  Removal of asbestos and reinstatement of the ceilings including plastering

  The removal of the asbestos was fine, however JG Asbestos subcontracted out the plastering work (which was not made clear to us at any point as this was quoted and invoiced through them). This was very poorly done, with large holes, plasterboards falling down and the ceiling bowing within a day of them leaving. Not only will this cost us a lot to rectify, JG Asbestos completely refuse any responsibility for the plasterers they quoted for, arranged, directed, invoiced for, and received payment for.

  Asbestos removal was perfect, the plastering wasn’t to standard and I have tried to assist the customer as best as I can to rectify, even offering partial refunds. The plasterer and the customer have not spoken directly. Not a lot more I can do to help.

  Prompt communication; Clean, tidy job execution

  We had an asbestos survey at first. Dave (the surveyor) was on time and quickly undertook the sampling. The results were with us via email the next morning. A quote to remove coving and the lounge ceiling from our early 1980s property was sent at our request. At no point were we hassled to have the work done and Jamie kindly sent pictures so we knew exactly how the room would look once the ceiling was removed. We decided to go ahead, clear instructions about how to prepare the room were sent and removal took 2 hours.You would not have known such major work had been given how tidy all was left.

  Removing asbestos garage roof

  Gary and Jamie were excellent to work with. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Gary conducted the work onsite and completed it within 2 hrs to a very high standard. Can’t fault them. Perfect job.
