  Summerhouse and Shed

Jim has done another great job for me, building a summerhouse and shed in the back garden. I'm happy with the finished build and feel confident tgat if I have any problems in the future, Jim would come and fix them. There was a problrm with planning permission, but this was recified. Be aware that you, as the customer, are liable for and should check if a building is within regulations.

Flush Sash Casement Bay Windows and Soffit,Fascia and Guttering around House

Really pleased with the job Jim and his son Harry have done. I’ll admit I can be pretty fussy, but the standard of work has been great. Jim always takes the time to explain things and if we had any issues, there was never any arguing or hassle — he just wanted to get it right. They even went above and beyond insulating underneath our bay window for us. Very competitive price too. He can be hard to get hold of sometimes as he’s so busy, but I think that says a lot! Would definitely have Jim and Harry back.

  Skylight installation

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent service from Jim’s Joinery We couldn’t be happier with the work carried out by Jim and his son. They replaced our flat roof and fitted a new roof window, as well as arranging the plastering and electrical work for us. Everything was organised and completed to an excellent standard. They were both extremely professional, reliable and trustworthy throughout, and it was great knowing that all aspects of the job were being properly looked after. The finished result looks fantastic and has made a huge difference to the room. We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Jim

  Composite Front Doors Installation

  Posted 08 September

  Excellent result, really impressive workmanship.

Jim fitted a new composite front door and frame. Lots of choice available. Excellent support and communication to help select the product. It was a flawless install. He also coordinated the work with another tradesman who was working on my porch at the same time. I've engaged his services again for the backdoor. Recommended.

  Conservatory Roof Insulation

First class joinery, nothing is too much trouble.

Jim and Harry have done three projects in my house, the last one being a major insulation and stud work project. I have been really impressed by the work, which was carried out efficiently and expertly. Jim is very knowledgeable, and was very helpful giving suggestions which I would never have thought of. Jim project-managed everything seamlessly, and the others he brought in (electrician and plasterer) were just as skilled and reliable. Jim and Harry both work hard, are trustworthy and are a pleasure to have around, I shall certainly use their services in future.
