£56k and Still Issues
Our garden project with Joeby Benham grew from an £18k budget to around £56k after scope changes, fixes, and paying another tradesman to finish. What was meant to take a couple of months took over 9 months, effectively wasting a whole summer through repeated delays, staffing changes and missed details. Despite tracking everything, several issues remained. The lawn is still uneven and needs re-levelling, and mature planting was damaged. My advice: keep jobs small, get comparison quotes, agree every detail in writing, do not pay a deposit, and only pay once fully checked.Verified reviewerJob location: BA229.33 Landscape Contractor
