  Double Garage Conversion to Livingroom

  We gave Joe a very tight deadline for a garage conversion with the birth of our first child on the way. He said he could make it happen even if he had to work weekends and he did! Despite our situation, his quote was very competitive even amongst people who had said they could never make the deadline. We also wished to do some of the work ourselves to save costs which was probably made things more complicated for Joe and required a lot of communication from us both but it never caused a problem (I hope) We’re really happy with our new livingroom and we’ll definitely work with him again.

  Versatile carpenter with a good appreciation of all the trades

  As my kids have grown, the disparity in bedroom sizes was becoming problematic, so following an initial chat, Joe and his team took down the wall dividing them and build a new insulated timber/plasterboard wall and dealt with the associated electrics back in April 2025. A year on, I can report I'm still very happy with their work...so much so I felt the need to write this review!

  Lovely guy

  I have been supervising work carried out by Joe and his team for several years. Joe is hard working, honest and a skilled tradesman. He has an apprentice and two graduate apprentices working with him which together make an efficient and productive team. The workmanship is always excellent and he is always ready to come back and correct any issues. Very fair pricing and takes great care to look after his client's property and respect their homes. I honestly can't fault him

  Bespoke garage door - excellent work, on time and to budget

  Joe and his team have worked a lot recently on our house renovation, organised through our builder. They have always been friendly, approachable and have done excellent work in all stages of the build. Following this we commissioned Joe directly to build us a bespoke garage door and electric cabinet cover to match our house cladding. The job was completed on time, to budget, they were clean and tidy throughout. We are very pleased with the work the did and would definitely recommend them.

  Built in wardrobe

  Work was carried out to replace and upgrade built in wardrobe. Joe has done previous work to a very high standard, and the results again were excellent. Clean, tidy, on time and polite. Would recommend.

  Bathroom refitting

  Joe recently project managed the complete transformation of our bathroom, and we couldn’t be happier with the result. From start to finish, he stuck rigidly to the original budget something I’ve found increasingly rare these days and kept the entire project on track. Despite having to juggle multiple tradespeople, some of whom let him down, Joe remained calm, professional, and solution-focused throughout. His ability to adapt, manage challenges, and still deliver on time was seriously impressive. Highly recommend Joe if you’re looking for someone dependable and completes work to a high spec
