    Rendering of wall

    We recently used Johnsons Rendering and Plastering to repair an exterior wall where all of the render was falling off, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish they were professional, reliable, and incredibly hardworking. The wall now looks absolutely fantastic — the new render is smooth, solid, and has completely transformed the appearance of the house. They took real pride in their work, kept everything tidy, and explained the process clearly throughout. It’s hard to find tradespeople this trustworthy and skilled these days, but Gary did an amazing

    Rendering of a damaged outside wall could be repaired

    Turned up on time, excellent work couldn’t have got it any straighter it’s a smooth as can be the wall is repaired. Everyone is commenting on how good it looks would recommend for any plastering or rendering work. The rendering work completed looks amazing.

    Flat Ceilings

    Honest, skillful and professional long established family firm.

    Gary Johnson visited very quickly to give me a quotation for re-boarding my lounge ceiling, skim and replace coving. The quote having been accepted by my insurance company a start date was arranged with Gary, he turned up on time with son Michael. It's a messy job ripping down coving and replacing a ceiling in a large ish 5 mtr lounge, however they were scrupulous in their attention to mitigating this and spent much time covering and cleaning. The completed job was perfect in particular Michael's re-plastering of the ceiling and the replacement coving. This is an honest and skillful company.

My base trade is plastering and rendering, I have been trained in traditional methods back in the 1980's.


Which includes sand and cement render, Tyrolean finishes. Certified by Baumit & atlas external wall insulation. ( EWI) and render systems


Also, we undertake all render patching work to match your existing render finish.


Whether pebble dash or Tyrolean finish. I also work on new silicone type render (Wetherby or K rend and Johnstones silicone ) if the job is suitable for these new methods.


For indoor work I am experienced in solid wet coat plastering as well as board and finish work.


Also, I will take on small jobs from water damage and patching work.


Having been in the building trade for over 30 years, I can deal with many varied skills, thus I will take radiators off walls, plaster & then replace.


I will, for example plumb an outdoor tap longer in order to apply outdoor insulation board and render, thus the tap will not be 'buried'.


I am able to find and make solutions to building issues that arise.


We also do over skimming work.
