I contacted Jon The Builder and he provided a quote, several suggestions for the work as it was not clear until the plaster was taken off the wall what was causing the issue. The work was carried out as explained, the builder arrived on time, worked really hard and completed the work within the deadline provided. I would use Jon The Builder again as I really appreciated his skills and communication throughout.
