• Replacing dry verge system

  I hired J.P Contractors to re-do a botched job done by a firm of (supposedly ) roofers. J.p contractors striped away (the now falling away ) verge system and replaced it with a more sturdy fitting.I Was very impressed with their professionalism and quality of workmanship, and was also given a 10 year guarantee. After this experience, I will always use Checkatrade for any jobs.

• 1930s semi original roof repair, excellent job

  With all the rain this year our 1930s semi developed a leak, unfortunately this got alot worse quickly. As a result we sought quotes for the repair, we had 6. Joe had sounded very knowledgeable and was able to provide a quote same day (unlike alot of others). He quoted to replace all the tiles and membrane on the back of the house where the leak was, for a very reasonable price and it would take 2/3 days. When he began the repair the roof was in such a poor state we decided to do the whole thing, again his prices were reasonable. Joe did a great job and communication was great. Would recommend

  Responded very quickly to my phone call, gave me a quote on the spot and then came to do the job in the rather tight timescales we had agreed. The job needed scaffolding that I thought would be difficult to organise but it was erected a few days after the first visit and taken down 2 days after the work was completed. Efficient, polite, good quality - and with a 10 year guarantee!
