Decoration of hall, stairs and landing
James decorated our hall, stairs and landing. It was necessary to make good the walls on the staircase where the handrail had been removed. This was done leaving no trace that the handrail had ever been there. We are very pleased with the work and James is going to return to decorate the kitchen and cloakroom. It is lovely to have such an excellent, reliable decorator so local to us.

Exterior painting of windows, facias and sofits
James was very polite, trustworthy and competitive. He tried to save us money on scaffolding (even if we did need to get it in the end). He was flexible and accommodating in terms of fitting the job in around the weather, as well as coming back to finish painting some final roof repairs once our roofer had finished. I would highly recommend and we will use him again.

Refurbing kitchen dresser units
I have used James for a long time now across a number of projects. He is so easy to work with. He is very friendly, polite and courteous. He is patient and helpful in moments of indecision (I have many). He is flexible in how he works and his prices are very reasonable. His workmanship is excellent. On this latest project he was refurbishing my old Ikea dresser units. He works really cleanly and is very respectful of my house and belongings and always leaves the place in a good state. The outcome of the job was brilliant and I am so pleased. I really trust him!

Feel so lucky to have had James recommended by a friend. First class job and everything finished on time. James is such a pleasure to have around and cleans up so you wouldn’t know he had even been in. Would recommend to anyone with confidence.

Painting walls and ceilings and repairing damage to wall
Despite confessing to being extremely busy, James managed to fit the work I had asked for in to his schedule. The paint job was excellent, no mess, no fuss. I hope he will help me with further work in the future.
