I am utterly delighted with the work of J & S Turton Ltd and recommend them in the highest terms. The team has a full range of skills and expertise. Our slate roof in our grade II listed home was leaking, and Jeff Turton’s roofers came to inspect. They demonstrated to our satisfaction that a new roof was required. The work was done with high quality Canadian slate, which was superior to the Spanish slate we had previously had, and was installed with a very high quality of workmanship. During the course of the work, additional problems were found with our chimney stack and parapet wall which needed re-rendering, and this pushed up costs beyond the original quote, but was worth doing while the scaffolding was up. The work undertaken on my roof was expertly carried out following discovery of a leak. The company went the extra mile when unforeseen problems were discovered.

Old fencing supported by concrete pillars removed, new picket fence installed and edging stones laid. An incredibly professional job by Sonny and Will. Extremely tidy and punctual. Would recommend J Turton without hesitation.

Flat roof above kitchen extension had begun to leak after torrential rain. Jeff came round and identified the issue. Two days later, William and Tom repaired the particular part of the roof in a couple of hours, leaving no mess. Very polite, respectful and knowledgeable, I would have no hesitation in using them again when I need the whole roof done.
