    Toilet leak

    Really quick response from James, phone call not long after submitting my job request and as he had a cancellation that morning he arrived 15 minutes later. Took less than an hour to fix, definitely knows his stuff and very courteous, would definitely use again, thank you.

    Jake worked really well with us, explaining issues and offering various options and risks. Carried out the work over three visits but left the plumbing in a serviceable way each time until it was all fixed. Kept to dates and times and pricing.

    Noisy immersion tank

    I can thoroughly recommend James, he was an absolute professional. He gave me options to replace the heating element of the immersion or replace the whole tank. Explained the risks, costs and options so I felt I was making an informed choice. The work was done to an extremely high standard and exceeded my expectations. I subsequently asked James back for a dripping cold water tank and I wasn’t disappointed. He was clean, quick, efficient and very polite. Very excellent workmanship and highly recommended.

    Fitting toilet and radiator

    James was a pleasure to have working in our home. He was kind and polite, and his quality of work and tidiness was great. He originally came to change our toilet and when he did such a good job he then came back to change our radiator for a much more reasonable price than what we had been quoted elsewhere. I would definitely recommend him!

    Multiple tricky plumbing tasks

    We'd procrastinated a bundle of awkward plumbing jobs: changing a bath tap with very restricted access, fixing a waste pipe with a crack close to a joint that would be very expensive to replace, replacing a stopcock on a corroded pipe embedded in cement, etc. In each case, James methodically thought through how he would tackle each task, anticipating risks, tradeoffs or potential for future issues, and he was careful, neat and thorough in the execution. His prices were reasonable, and he is a friendly, likable person to boot. We will use him again in future and I'm happy to recommend him.

    Replaced shower valve

    James spent the time researching a replacement valve part for an old shower, and then successfully sourced and changed it. Apart from saving us the cost of a new shower part, we really appreciated his effort to reuse instead of replace. He kept in touch and as soon as the part arrived, scheduled a date quickly and did the job on the day he promised, with a smile and fully explaining the process.

    Replace a kitchen Mixer tap.

    James did a very professional job from start to finish. Verbal quote supplied. Arrived on time, did the job & cleaned up at the end. One the day, he texted to say he could come earlier if required which was great. He checked everything before starting work and changed the tap along with fitting additional isolators on the pipes. James was friendly, professional & courteous, a pleasure to deal with. We would recommend him & would use him again in the future.

    Repair broken shower

    James responded to our request very promptly and came out the same day to look at our problems. He researched the parts required (it was an old unit, so not that easy) and came back to do the repair efficiently and quickly. He was very responsive at all times.

Company info

Experienced plumbing and heating engineer. I Started my company in 2022 so I am looking to build up my business with a good work ethic and a high standard of work.

 

I can work on both plumbing and heating systems which include:

 

• Radiator repairs, replacements and installs.

• Heating system power flushes.

• General plumbing maintenance, repairs and installs.

• Installation and repairs of hot water and cold water storage tanks.

• Any form of tap replacement or repair.

• Fault finding and a basic level of leak detection and repair.

 

I can give a free quote upon request by a customer and if there are any issues with the works carried out I am happy to come back and resolve the issues any customer has got however I always plan for there to never be any issues.

 

I like to be on time and punctual if there are any delays I will let my customers know and always keep them updated. If there is an issue with a job I will stay until the job is completed but always working with whatever is convenient for the customer.

 

 

Unfortunately I am not gas safe qualified so any job where gas is required I will be unable to carry the work out. I am hoping this will change soon.

 

 

I am looking for work, so any work you need doing don’t hesitate to get in contact. If the job is not right for me I will never attempt something I am not comfortable carrying out and will let you know as soon as I fully understand the work that is required to be carried out. I will give you a free quote and come over to have a look if required still free of charge.
