Very poor tradesman
The tradesman came on a Monday and said he would be working at our home every day for the rest of the week. Not once did he turn up, and gave us different excuses every day as to why he didn’t turn up. He left ladders on our roof for over a week which damaged tiles, and dropped bricks and other debris down next door’s chimney. This resulted in them having to pay for a chimney sweep and do repairs in the living room where their fireplace was damaged. Re Roof
Had the whole roof redone. From the start they are polite. Did clean up as best they can (I still had to clear lots of nails from gravel and lawn). After the job was completed and all final money was paid I left a positive review in July 2024. Since then I have messaged them via text, messenger etc. for guarantee/invoice/receipts on headed papers. Left messages. A few weeks after I went in the loft and found the 10 rafters on one side of roof were not attached to the ridge pearling.Debris over insulation. Down pipes blocked. Joint replacement on gutter
Sent a video showing Joints on the gutter was dripping. Tommy came and replaced 2 joints, a few days later it rained and the whole gutter section was pouring. Told me the joints may be the wrong size but then was adamant the gutter was cracked without coming to see and wanted 600+ for the new section. Wasn't convinced it was cracked as it wasn't that bad before joints was changed. Asked to come and put the right sized joints on that we originally paid for and he's had us waiting in for 3/4 times to never turn up. No intention to come back. Made it worse. Gutter
We had Tommy and his team come out on 23rd July due to a leak in the gutter which he explained that we needed two new joints fitted and he would also clean the gutter. Very quick and efficient. However on arrival he tells me he's very rough from the night before which isn't very professional. Skip couple weeks later, we have heavy rainfall to find the gutter is now worse and the leak is streaming through onto my conservatory. I get back in contact with Tommy to tell him that the work he had done hasn't fixed the problem. Complete re-roof
Very happy with the completed job. If they noticed anything they informed me and also took pictures when they could to show me. If I noticed anything that I was not happy with it was looked at / replaced as soon as possible . Any mess was cleared to the best of their ability and taken away.
