Work to Repair leak in the Valley of our extension
Tom intially charged £350 to "fix" a leak in the valley running between the house and our extension but the issue is not resolved. It is worse now than before with more water leaking into the house. He also made up a job about a cracked ridge tile charging a further £250. Tried contacting Tom several times provided but he has not once returned my calls so having to get another roofer in to fix the issues. Should have got more quotes but needed it done for Christmas. Leak around velux windows
Even though he reapteed on numerous occasions he had 18 years experience after taking the payment of £350 to fix the leak. ( which failed) he admitted to no knowledge or lack of experience with Velux windows. He left large amounts of silicon around the windows and on the glass , did not cement where he said. He has used sticky lead repair predominantly. The work is not even classed as a novice standard. A pre-schooler could have done a better job . Due to him admitting no knowledge of the issue with the velux windows I now have to instruct another person .
